Command has tasked you and your team to help recover Patient Zero data files from a secret research bunker. The problem: After you and your team found the Diamond Skull and saved the earth, a rogue scientist tried to find out how it works He cracked it open and the skull released a deadly virus that turned the scientist into a blood-crazed zombie. Now, everyone in the bunker is walking dead.
This is your mission, should you choose to accept it; hold position whilst Command overrides the entrance. Infiltrate the bunker. Find the main laboratory, and download the Patient Zero files. Protect yourself and your teammates against the relentless zombie hordes, only teamwork will see you through.
The fate of the world is in YOUR hands. God speed and good luck.
To help you succeed, we’ve put together some imperative player tips:
Don’t spray and pray
You’ll need to be prepared for the zombie horde you’re about to face, be calculated, be creative and as your ammo is limited, every shot counts. Aim for the head – headshots are more effective and score more points.
‘None of us are as smart as all of us’ – that’s a quote to live (or die) by in this game. Communicate, cover all entry points, cover your teammates whilst they reload, and use the right guns for the situations. One player up close with a shotgun another player being his overwatch. A well organised tight squad will always come out on top.
Choose your weapons wisely
Pros – Long-range, accurate. 1 shot kill.
Cons – Slow loading time. Only one shot fired at once.
Best Use – Hang back from the main action and use it to support your squad by picking off the enemy when they get too close. BUT watch your back!
3b. Gattling Gun
Pros – 100 rounds in clips.
Cons – Low accuracy, lowers your average score.
Best Use – If the enemy swarm is too much, this will be your saviour.
Tip – There’s only one per team to maximise impact from limited clips.
Pros – Perfect for close combat. 1 shot kill.
Cons – Only two cartridges at a time. Limited cartridges.
Pro tip – It’s able to take out 2 + enemy at a time, if well aimed (consider the spread of pellets and aim in the middle).
Pros - Unlimited clips.
Cons – Multiple rounds are required to take down the enemy.
Pro tip – Stick with this weapon if this is your first Patient Zero/ROAMDOME experience – changing weapons and monitoring ammo can take some getting used to.
Pros – Doesn’t require reloading.
Cons – Only for close up battle. Low score.
Tip – Do not reload partially used clips and cartridges- ammo will be lost e.g. shotgun, sniper, gatling.
Squad size matters
It goes without saying really that the bigger the squad the more likely you are to survive. A team of 5 is ideal, so grab four friends, suit up and jump into the action.
